Chef de quai/Dock manager in Saint-Martin (French Part)

Dream Yacht is hiring a Dock Manager / Chef de Quai!

Are you passionate about boating and eager to take on a role that combines technical expertise, customer relations, and team management? Join us as a Dock Manager and play a key role in ensuring service excellence and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Boat preparation & maintenance

• Oversee the maintenance, servicing, and cleaning of boats.
• Plan and supervise technical and cleaning interventions.
• Organize winter haul-outs and manage spare parts inventory.
• Conduct sea trials and ensure safety equipment compliance.

2. Client & operations management

• Welcome clients and handle check-in/check-out procedures.
• Deliver technical, safety, and navigation briefings.
• Assist clients with local reservations.
• Ensure safety and smooth port operations.

3. Team leadership

• Recruit, train, and manage technical and cleaning staff.
• Organize duty schedules and assign boats to technicians.

4. Logistics & administration

• Provide reporting and activity tracking.
• Represent the company with local authorities and partners.
• Manage administrative documentation for boats.
• Act as Base Manager when required.

5. Cross-department coordination

• Collaborate closely with commercial, finance, and administrative teams.

✅ Profile:

• Proven experience in technical and operational management (nautical or industrial sector).
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Customer service and safety-oriented mindset.
• Fluent professional English (other languages a plus).
